Westpac Fraud Money Back Guarantee ensures that any unauthorised transaction claims will be reimbursed provided that the cardholder has not contributed to the loss and contacted us promptly. With Altitude Business Gold Mastercard credit cards, use your Altitude Points per $1 spent on eligible transactions you can redeem a great range of rewards, for you or your business.

Travel

  • International Travel Insurance - Access to up to 3 months' complimentary cover for International Travel Insurance when you meet the eligibility criteria as set out in the Credit Card Complimentary Insurance Policy including prepaying $500 of your travel costs to your eligible card and holding a return overseas ticket before departing Australia, (see policy document for full eligibility criteria, terms, conditions, and exclusions).
  • Overseas Transit Accident Insurance - Overseas Transit Accident Insurance covers against specified accidental death or injury when sustained overseas while riding, boarding or alighting as a passenger in a plane, bus, train or shorthaul ferry when you have purchased the tickets for the entire trip using your Credit Card before you leave (terms, conditions, exclusions and eligibility criteria apply).

Purchase-related insurance

  • Purchase Protection Insurance - Access to up to 4 months Purchase Protection Insurance on eligible purchases, as set out in the Credit Card Complimentary Insurance Policy (terms, conditions, exclusions and eligibility criteria apply).
  • Extended Warranty Insurance - Up to 24 months extended warranty insurance cover (in addition to the manufacturer's expressed Australian warranty) on a range of personal items purchased using your Credit Card and up to 3 months on Business items (terms, conditions, exclusions and eligibility criteria apply).

Business-related insurance

  • Account holder's Unauthorised Transaction Insurance - Unauthorised Transaction Insurance will indemnify the account holder for eligible unauthorised transaction (terms, conditions, exclusions and eligibility criteria apply).

Cash Advance Fee

These charges will appear on your credit card statement directly below the relevant cash advance.

 

Missed Payment Fee From 22 November 2021: $0 may be payable each statement cycle that the whole of the minimum monthly payment is not paid by the statement due date.
If charged, the missed payment charge will be debited to your account.
Overlimit Fee

From 22 November 2021: $0 may be debited from your Altitude Business Gold Mastercard credit card account every time you exceed your credit limit during a statement cycle.

It is debited from your account in that statement cycle, on or after the day(s) your credit limit is exceeded. This fee may also be charged whenever your account is over limit at the commencement of a statement cycle.

Things you should know

1. Discounted annual Card Fee in first year promotion. The first-year annual Card Fee waiver is available when you apply for a new Altitude Business Gold Mastercard or Altitude Business Platinum Mastercard credit card. The first annual Card Fee will be debited on the 12-month anniversary of the first transaction on your account and annually thereafter. This offer may be withdrawn at any time.
2. Balance transfer promotion: The promotional balance transfer rate is available when you apply and are approved for a new Westpac Altitude Business Platinum Mastercard or Gold Mastercard credit card and request at application to transfer balance(s) from up to 3 non-Westpac Australian issued credit, charge or store cards. The rate will apply to balance(s) transferred (min $200 up to 80% of your approved available credit limit) for 12 months from card activation, unless the amount is paid off earlier. The applicable variable cash advance rate will apply to balance(s) transferred but left unpaid at the end of the 12 month promotional period. If your account has an interest free period for purchases, to be entitled to that interest free period, you need to pay off the 'Monthly Payment Balance' listed on your statement of account (not the full closing balance) by the relevant payment due date. Westpac will not be responsible for any delays that may occur in processing payment to your other card account(s) and will not close the other card account(s). The variable cash advance interest rate applies to balance transfers requested at any other time. Switches, upgrades, customers accessing employee benefits or packaged cards are ineligible for this offer. This offer may be withdrawn at any time. 
3. Complimentary insurance covers: AWP Australia Pty Ltd ABN 52 097 227 177 AFSL 245631, trading as Allianz Global Assistance (AGA), under a binder from the insurer, Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL 234708 (Allianz), has issued an insurance group policy to Westpac Banking Corporation ABN 33 007 457 141 AFSL and Australian credit licence 233714 (Westpac) which allows eligible persons to claim under it as third party beneficiaries. Access to the benefit of cover under the Credit Card Complimentary Insurance is provided to eligible Westpac cardholders by operation of s48 of the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 (Cth). Annual Card Fee: For BusinessChoice Rewards Platinum Mastercard and BusinessChoice Everyday Mastercard credit cards, an annual Card Fee is payable for each card associated with the facility.

Earning and redeeming Altitude reward points: You can earn and redeem Altitude rewards points as set out in the Altitude Business Rewards Terms and Conditions (PDF 120KB). You do not receive points if your card account is in arrears for 2 consecutive statement cycles and in other circumstances. Altitude reward points do not expire while you remain an Altitude card holder. You must be a member of the relevant frequent flyer program to redeem Altitude points for frequent flyer points. The terms and conditions of the relevant frequent flyer programs also apply. A joining fee may apply for these frequent flyer programs. Availability of award flights may be limited.

You must have earned a minimum of 3,000 Altitude points before you can redeem any rewards. For Altitude Business Gold cards, a points cap of 20,000 points applies when using either or both cards. Bonus points do not count towards the points cap.

4.Read the  Westpac Online Banking Terms and Conditions (PDF 1MB) before making a decision. Not all accounts* are eligible to be included in a bank feed. Not all third-party service providers support bank feeds for all accounts.

Bank feeds must be set up with third-party service provider before it can be connected in Westpac Online Banking. If your third-party service provider doesn’t appear in the drop-down menu in Westpac Online Banking, you may need to check that your third-party service provider is registered with Westpac. Should there be any changes to your user access or network access levels, you may need to disconnect your bank feed(s) as any access changes won’t impact bank feeds.  The products and services offered by third-party service providers are subject to their own terms and conditions and fees and charges.  Westpac doesn’t guarantee or endorse the services or products offered by third-party service providers.

*Currently Business Credit Cards and Business Term Deposits accounts aren’t available for third-party service provider’s except MYOB. This may be extended to other third-party service providers in the future.
